Meet Cale Sammons
Cale Sammons, the driving force behind Sierra Car Loans, is an experienced and trusted asset finance broker with nearly two decades of expertise in the finance industry.
Cale began his career in 2006, undertaking a traineeship as a Dealership Finance & Insurance Manager with one of Australia’s largest family-operated motor groups. This role provided him with a deep understanding of motor finance approvals, settlements processes, and how to structure deals to meet finance company requirements.
Over the next five years, Cale excelled within the dealership network, quickly rising to Senior Manager of a highly successful Finance & Insurance Department. However, by 2011, seeking a better work-life balance for his growing family, Cale transitioned into finance broking.
A Journey Through Asset Finance and Broking
Cale joined one of the country’s largest finance broking firms, leveraging cutting-edge technology to stay ahead of the competition. During this time, he also expanded his qualifications, earning a Certificate IV and Diploma in Financial Services to become a licensed mortgage broker. These experiences prepared him for the evolving regulatory environment within the finance industry.
In 2014, Cale founded Sierra Car Loans, balancing its growth alongside roles with prominent finance broking firms. While operating independently was challenging due to high lead generation costs, Cale remained committed to his vision of providing personalized, customer-focused service.
A New Beginning for Sierra Car Loans
In 2017, Cale took a brief hiatus from the industry, pursuing a lawn mowing franchise. However, recognizing his passion for finance, he returned with a renewed perspective. Partnering with one of Australia’s largest asset finance brokers, Cale relaunched Sierra Car Loans under an aggregation agreement that combines self-employment freedom with the resources and support of a major organization.
