He began his career in 2006 as a Finance & Insurance Manager with one of Australia’s largest family-owned motor groups, gaining expertise in loan approvals, deal structuring and the settlement process, before moving into senior roles.
In 2011, Cale transitioned into finance broking — a move that allowed him to work more closely with clients while maintaining a strong work-life balance. Today, he combines real industry experience with modern technology and AI-supported tools to deliver smarter, faster and more transparent finance outcomes for Australians.
A Journey Through Asset Finance and Broking
Cale joined one of Australia’s largest finance broking firms, where he began incorporating emerging digital tools and modern technologies to streamline client outcomes. During this time, he completed his Certificate IV and Diploma in Financial Services, becoming a licensed mortgage broker and developing a deeper understanding of the industry’s evolving regulatory environment.
In 2014, he launched Sierra Car Loans, balancing independent operation with contract roles at major broking firms. Despite challenges like high marketing costs, Cale remained committed to delivering a personalised, client-first experience built on transparency and trust.

After briefly stepping away in 2017 to pursue another business venture, Cale returned to the finance industry with renewed clarity and a stronger focus on innovation. Sierra Car Loans was relaunched in partnership with one of Australia’s leading asset finance aggregators—providing the flexibility of self-employment alongside the systems, tools, and compliance framework of a national organisation.
