Founder & Head of Consumer Finance
Cale’s career in car finance started from the ground up. Trained directly by one of Australia’s major automotive financiers, he then moved into the dealership environment before transitioning to broking. That path gave him a perspective that most brokers simply don’t have, understanding the finance product from the lender’s side, the sales process from the dealer’s floor, and ultimately the client’s experience from the broker’s chair.
With over 20 years in the industry and senior roles across some of Australia’s most recognised brokerages, Cale founded Sierra Car Loans to deliver a better experience for everyday Australians seeking vehicle finance. Transparent, no-nonsense, and outcome-driven from the first call to settlement.
The expansion into Sierra Financial Group reflects his commitment to giving clients access to a broader range of finance solutions under one trusted brand. Cale continues to lead the consumer finance division personally, with the kind of hands-on service that larger institutions simply can’t match.
Nick Ivers
Head of Business & Asset Finance
With nearly 20 years in finance, Nick has held senior roles at two of Australia’s largest brokerages, building deep expertise across the full spectrum of asset finance, commercial lending, and complex credit structuring. Having worked across both front-end origination and aggregation operations, Nick brings a level of industry insight that is rare in the market.
His reputation has been earned deal by deal. Accountants, financial planners, and fellow brokers consistently turn to Nick when a transaction is complex, time-sensitive, or requires someone who truly understands credit policy and lender appetite. He doesn’t just place loans, he structures solutions, navigating the nuances of each deal with the kind of precision that comes from two decades at the coalface.
